| ok, so, this summer, i'm gonna be in ann arbor
come visit!
i'm still working part-time at Jimmy's- eh, it's alright
i volunteer at The Gallery Project which is a really neat gallery- check it
i also volunteer at Ten Thousand Villages- fair trade! we had Indonesian dancers in today
i'm a helper for a prof this month to teach blind/visually impaired children work with clay (the kids are so amazing, i can't believe the work they make)
i also get to go practice with the wheel in the clay studio this summer!
the photo exhibit is at the WORK gallery this june, i'm going to be producing photos for it
and- i'm living with some girls in a lil (well, it's actually really big and 100 years old) yellow house- that will be another color soon! it's so much more relaxed in ann arbor during the summer- i can't wait!

| as i wait for my laundry, xanga update!
i just got back from indiana an hour ago, and it was one of those lil experiences u don't ever forget. Envirocorps! Let's just hope i don't have poison sumac....haha- at least i didn't end up w/ anything like frost bite. fun fun. making huge dinners, getting rid of invasive species, salsa dancing, arts & crafts, watching anthony rip apart trees, tushar's sandwich creations, and of course the awesome awesome people.
the dorms are still empty- that's no fun-poo.
now i know i wanna do peacecorps for sure having done a lil for americorps. teach for america would still be cool, but i don't know how i feel about abandoning the kids after 2 years- we'll see..there's still some time till i graduate- that is if i ever do graduate. | | |
